The bateleurs are very beautiful eagles that are quite common in Botswana. As you can see on the photos, they are quite recognizable from the red color of their head and their feet in striking opposition to the black feathers (at least for the adults).
Not easily frightened, they are relatively easy to approach and the matter is only to choose the best time of the day to get a nice light on them.
