Where to buy your Sony Alpha A100?

You don’t need to look anymore. The digital photo reflex camera that brings Sony to the D-SLR market with the new Alpha brand will be available at the end of July (some say that Malaysia would be the first to receive shipments but this rumour lacks any substantiation). If you want to buy it, you will have to pre-order. All photo shops (online or not) should alow you to buy it but Sony has its own sales web site: SonyStyle.

Of course, you can buy it at your local photo dealer shop (or at most Sony distributors). It is quite probable that there will be a first rush where it will only be available with the standard zoom of 17-70mm f/3.5-5.6, but after the initial 28 July rush, the bare body should quickly become available to the masses.
